Lec-3 Advise: Completion of ESL 150 and ENGL 92 or placement in ENGL 93 or 94; or ESL 82 or 160 This course bridges Labor and Community Studies and Latin American/Latino/a Studies by comparing the histories and realities of Latin American workers in the US and Latin America. Craft unions, industrial unions, the Progressive movement, the Wobblies and World War I. The Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, mass unionization, the New Deal and World War II.
