This course fulfills the partial continuing education requirement of the AB243 mandated Health and Safety Training established by the State EMS Authority for Child Care Providers.

Basic disaster skills instruction in utility control, identification of nonstructural hazards, hazardous materials awareness, fire extinguishing equipment and techniques, disaster medicine, search and rescue, team organization and management, and disaster psychology. A Neighborhood Response Team Training certificate of attendance will be awarded to those who qualify.
