Description: Overview of business computer systems which include hardware, software, MIS, networks, the use of the Internet, and security systems used in business are compared and analyzed. Introductory units on the basics of the computer and software applications that include spreadsheets, word processing, presentation graphics, and database management. Security systems used in business are compared and analyzed. This course is designed to meet the requirements of the business transfer major. Transfer: CSU, UC.
