Use of actual works of art to explore the artist's role, and to prepare artists for the artist's life, including drama, film, literature, visual arts and music from a variety of cultures and historical periods. 4 lecture discussions. Also, the theatre art and production of ancient Greek, Roman, Indian, Chinese and Japanese cultures are studied.
