BIO 1B: Animal Diversity and Evolutionary Principles

Introduces principles of evolutionary biology, and examines their application in a survey of important animal clades. The course also explores in-depth diversity in animal form and function, and considers how evolutionary history, selection, and other factors produce different solutions to problems that many animals have in common.
