    Principles and techniques of fluoroscopy equipment, image intensifiers, television, image recording, devices and mobile fluoroscopy. Anatomy and physiology of the eye, three dimensional and radiologic anatomy. Fluoroscopy regulations, radiation safety and quality control. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be eligible to apply for the State of California Fluoroscopy permit. Prerequisite: Hold or be eligible as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in Diagnostic or Therapeutic Radiology within the State of California. Hours: 45 lect, 18 lab.     Supervised clinical experiences are provided to perfect skills in a variety of radiographic procedures. Case studies of radiographic procedures discussing the fundamentals of anatomy, positioning and technical factors of film quality are analyzed on a case-by-case basis. Extension of radiographic procedures demonstrated in RADT B2a, B2b. Prerequisite: Completion of second semester of Radiologic Technology Program. Hours: 18 lect, 382 clinic. Offered: SS.     Sectional anatomy of the head and neck, spine, thorax, abdomen and pelvis. Emphasis on computed tomography and magnetic resonance images and other imaging modalities using sectional anatomy.     Introduction to the principles of cardiac, pulmonary, systemic and lymphatic angiography with radiographic film correlation of anatomy. Cinefluorographic equipment and procedures are discussed. Review of angiographic trends including interventional procedures. Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in the Radiologic Technology Program or evaluation of student's x-ray skills. Hours: 18 lect.     B1a-B1b (2.5-2.5) equivalent to blab. Introduction to the Russian language including the Cyrillic alphabet, grammar, and culture through audio, print, and cultural realia. This course covers speaking, reading, writing, listening, and the culture of Russia. Prerequisite: B1b: RUSS B1a. Recommended: Reading Level 5 or 6. Hours: B1a: 54 lect; B1b: 54 lect; blab 90 lect.     Selected topics in sociology which coincide with current student interests, special guest speakers, recent developments within the field, or events and trends of importance at the community, national or global levels.     Studies the social problems of modern society, especially in the United States, in order to arrive at alternate methods of identification and measurement of social problems. An attempt to gain understanding by judging the probable results of proposed changes. Problems include deviant behavior, including crime and delinquency, alcoholism, family violence, deviant subcultures, problems of man in industrial society, including the industrial workers and white collar workers and also stress and mental illness.
