Administering first aid in emergency and accident situations. Includes wounds and their care, shock, artificial respiration, C.P.R., injuries, burns, effects of heat and cold and the transportation of the injured. An integration of physiological, psychological and sociological understandings of the human being in relationship to physical activity as a lifelong pursuit. Topics include physical fitness, nutrition, stress reduction, socialization, and individual differences in human behavior.
