Thirty hours lab weekly. Prerequisite: EMS 343, current CPR certification for health care provider or professional rescuer. The third and final phase of paramedic training allows the student to be assigned to an emergency response vehicle with a field preceptor to establish advanced life support patient care responsibilities. Each student must have a minimum of (40) advanced life support contacts during this course. Upon successful completion of this phase of training, the student will become eligible for state certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic. (GR) (S)
