The 60 hours of classroom study is comprehensive covering real estate practices; real property; real estate business; home ownership; brokerage; listing agreements; interests in real estate; how ownership is held; legal descriptions; taxes/liens; contracts; transfer of title; title records; license laws; financing; leases; property management appraisal; land use; subdividing; fair housing laws; investment; and examination preparation. This course satisfies the state course requirements for the real estate salesperson's license.

This course extends and tailors management principles developed in MM 1203, Principles of Management, to the entrepreneurial small business environment. Principle topics include developing an effective business plan, starting up and marketing a business venture, sources of financing, and appropriate financial controls. It also requires students to consult with a local business, prepare a detailed report on its operations, and provide suggestions for improvement to the owner as appropriate. Prerequisite: MM 1203 or permission of instructor.

This course covers the principles of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and their uses and application industry. Some of the topics covered in this course include hydraulic pumps, control valves, cylinder seals, air compressor, filters, pressure regulator, pressure control valves, and flow controls.

This course includes the topics of rotary and linear motion mechanisms, gears, trains, belts, linkages, bearings, mechanical troubleshooting, drive elements, machinery safety requirements, electromechanical systems, and machine controls with an emphasis on selecting appropriate gears, gear configuration, and motor to match the power requirements of an electromechanical system. Pre or co-requisite: MAT 1001 and 1002 or higher.

This course studies the chemical and mechanical properties of metals. The microstructure of the metal is determined by Metallography Technique and the properties are verified by physical testing. Alloying and heating treatment of steel are discussed in detail.
