Handson experience in supporting, expanding, servicing, diagnosing and troubleshooting networked computers of multiple architectures and configurations. Introduction to the language of network security and hardware, software and firmware components of an information security system for local, metropolitan, enterprise, and wide area networks. Helps prepare participants for the Comptia Security+ exam and the GLAC Security Essentials Certificate (GSEC). Prerequisites: CNT150, or (MST150 or MST150 any module), or permission of instructor.
