Emphasis on basic systems analysis and design for a local area network, selection of appropriate hardware and software components. Includes current and future issues, needs analysis, cost estimation, selection of connectivity and network components, and issues relating to access, security, and support. Prerequisites: CIS190, or MST140, or permission of instructor.
