RUS 3301-3302: Advanced Russian Grammar

2 cr. each Sequence offering the opportunity to practice the application of skills learned at the intermediate level while encouraging the development of higher level functions of language communication such as opinion formation and abstraction. This sequence includes grammar reviewaswell as reading of selected classical and contemporary Russian texts. All four language skills are given attention.

FALL A study of the structure of local ecosystems is undertaken in order to better understand the function and interaction of living things to their environment. Particular emphasis will be given to freshwater ecology, involving research projects on local lakes. Attention will be given to the significance of human impact on ecosystems and the role of human stewardship in ecosystem management. Includes lab requirement. Lab fee.
