The student will identify personal and professional responsibilities of the pharmacy technician, including ethical behavior and professional attire. Verbal and non-verbal communication skills are emphasized, as the technician student learns about interacting with a diverse patient population. Additionally, students will explore time and stress management, as well as interpersonal skills necessary for negotiation, conflict resolution and teamwork. Critical thinking will be encouraged as the student creatively solves problems within the pharmacy work environment.
