Credits: 2 Prerequisite: RAST 1102, RAST 1212 This course covers normal maintenance of automated equipment. This includes proper procedures for handling printed circuit boards, electrical connectors, electrical cables, air/hydraulic hoses and fittings, electrical and mechanical adjustments, filter cleaning and replacement. Practice troubleshooting using small hand tools, VOM's oscilloscopes, micrometers, dial indicators, calipers and manufacturers' literature. Transfer Curriculum Goal(s): none

Credits: 2Prerequisite: PHYS 1401 This course covers fluid power components and symbols. The course covers properties of hydraulic and pneumatic fluids, fluid storage, conditioning, and maintenance. Included in the course are integration of PLC programs and hardware to robot controller programs and hardware systems.
