One Credit Wolfe Spring Semester Placement in the appropriate level of Keyboard Skills is by audition and advisement at the beginning of each semester. Students pursuing majors within the Bachelor of Music degree must successfully pass the appropriate piano proficiency exam. Enrollment in Keyboard Skills or Music 179 is required each semester until the exam is passed. After the exam is passed, remaining Keyboard Skills courses required for the degree may be waived by petition to the chairperson of the Department of Music.

The Chapel Choir is an ensemble of approximately 60 voices. Membership is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors by audition. The choir is dedicated to the performance of the finest sacred and secular choral music of the past five centuries. This ensemble participates in Christmas Vespers concerts and presents numerous on and off campus concerts during the year including an annual spring break tour.
