The course is designed to promote discussion and investigation of current legislation that drives and guides practice within the most common pediatric settings: Early Intervention and Schools, which service children from ages birth to twenty-one. Students also study common pediatric diagnoses, performance assessment tools, evidence-based techniques and documentation for Early Intervention and School-based programs. Clinical reasoning is emphasized in the process of studying these topics.
