Architectural Drawing in Perspective Pre: Co: Elect: This couse is designed to introduce the field of architectural perspective drawing to those who have little or no experience with mechanical and free hand drawing. The semester goal is for each student to prepare a series of four three-dimensional images of residential scale buildings. The drawings prepared will include both interior and exterior views. After completing this program the student will possess the confidence and skill level the student will posses the confidence and skill level needed to produce three-dimensional perspective views for any building (existing or proposed). Pre: Co: Elect: The object of this course is to review the mathematics needed to do well on the GMAT exams, decimals, fractions, squre roots, averages, percentages, ratios; simple algebra, geometry; and word problems. Also test taking strategies pertaining to the types of mathematics questions asked on the exams. The actual math portion of the exams will be adminstered and scored under actual test conditions. This course is beneficial to anyone who is planning to take the GMAT and will be especially beneficial to those who have been out of school for awhile and will pursue graduate school. Text required.

How to Start Your Own Restaurant Pre: Co: Elect: This practical program is for persons desiring to learn the tricks and the pitfalls of starting-up their own restaurant. Discussions will include developing your idea, finding the money, space, equipment, selecting vendors, opening the doors, management, cost controls, building your customer base, and marketing your store. The course is designed for those persons who are thinking about opening their own small restaurant, are about to open their own store, or recently actually did it.

Exporting: Basic Approaches to Foreign Markets Pre: Co: Elect: In this class we will present the basic elements of exporting, discuss how to begin doing business overseas, explain where to get information and help, and summarize the process of actually starting to do foreign business. In this market of increasing foreign demand for US goods and services, small businesses can compete and win against the major companies. A through summary of the discussion will be provided.

Not for beginners, this course will explore the relationship between computer architecture, hardware and software applications. In combination of class lecture "hands-on" expercises this course is designed for proficient computer users. Material will cover optimizing your system, device drivers, advanced command techniques, and advanced batch programming. An overview of hard drives, floppy drives, and system memory from a buyers perspective will be discussed.
