The classes will cover the basics such as creating, revising & correcting, saving, retrieving, and printing. Lotus 1-2-3: An Introduction Workshop Pre: Co: Elect: Lotus is most often mentioned in employment advertisements. Here students will learn the basics of Lotus including formatting, menus, formulas, databse, graphing, printing, and creating macros. This introductory course is for beginners and teaches skills that are used with ALL Lotus versions and the Lotus for Windows program. All work is "hands-on" and at the end of the course students will also have a series of self-made files on disk that can be retrieved for later practice and review.

Microsoft Powerpoint for Windows Pre: Co: Elect: Welcome to the world of presentation graphics. In this three week course students will create professional looking overheads, slides, signs and on-screen presentations. Topics include creating, viewing, editing and formatting through the use of fonts, color, clip art and the drawing tools. Bar graphs, pie graphs and organization charts will also be covered. Students must have some experience with Windows 3.1 and a mouse.
