Ajax on the Web: An Introduction Pre: Co: Learn the techniques required to design internet-rich Web applications using the development discipline known as Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML). Ajax is a component of cutting-edge Web functions known collectively as Web 2.0. It is intended to allow designers to introduce increased responsiveness and interactivity to Web sites. The class will examine the underlying techniques that make up Ajax and then explore client-side tools, server-side functions and other tools such as the Google Web Tool kit that are used to develop and deploy Ajax Applications.
