Three dimensional drawing techniques are presented, includ-g ing the use of user coordinate systems and controlling the 3-D display. Multiview layouts are presented and plotted. Use of a simple text editor for the creation of script file is employed to produce slide shows. Attributes are explained and demonstrated. The Advanced Modeling Extension is used to create solid models with primitives. Extensive use of the CD workstation is employed. Prerequisite: AutoCAd Introduction or equivalent.

    Advanced PHP/MySQL Pre: Co: A continuation of PHP and MySQL design techniques. Learn how to perform the most complex PHP functions and to provide a wide range of database access techniques using MySQL. Through a series of real-life exercises, the class will use PHP coding techniques to create database connections, write queries, parse a record set, and add and delete records. At the completion of this class you will be prepared to create dynamic web pages and associated databases for a wide variety of clients, applications, and servers.

    AutoCAD Basic: Landscape Design and Modeling Pre: Co: An introduction to the AutoCAD drawing environment as used for Landscape Design. Topics include the use of 2-D models and coordinate systems, maps, points, lines, polygons, planes, contours and cross sections. Terrain models, grid, ruled and mesh surfaces are discussed and constructed. Three-D solid terrain models, textures, Boolean operations, rendering, and calculations are demonstrated. Plant and vegetation symbols are inserted into drawings using blocks and external reference files. Prerequisite: Landscape Drafting I & II.
