    Wearable Flowers Pre: Co: This "hands-on" intensive workshop will teach students the delicate art of creating and designing "special occasion" corsages, floral wristlets for proms and weddings, and men's boutonnieres. Two evenings will be dedicated to floral wear for ladies' hair and head-dresses. Time permitting, the instructor will demonstrate advanced wiring techniques, the use of color, and appropriate flower selections. A weekly perishables fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. Please call for directions to off-site class (978-236-1200).

You will understand how to evaluate a theater company"s worth, what roles to audition for, how to do it well and within the time allowed, learn secrets to being remembered, judging a projects worth and the tme invested along with other tricks of the trade.     Advanced Acting Explore the actor's craft of building a character and creating dynamic relationships on stage. This course is for students with previous acting experience who want to further delve into their imaginations and develop their abilites to fully embody a character. Intensive analysis of character goals, obstacles and tectics will allow students to develop trughful on-stage realities. Emphasis will be placed on the interconnectedness of voice, body, intellect and emotion. Materials covered in this course will sharpen auditioning skills and enhance performance capabilities.

    Beginning Acting Pre: Co: Elect: If you ever wanted to be a successful actor, come and learn a secret or two. Through improvisation, theatre games, and acting exercises learn how to create dynamic onstage relationships and secrets you can use in auditions, rehearsals, and performances. This is an introductory course where you will learn "acting essentials" in a playful and supporting environment. Loose comfortable clothing and a sense of humor a must!

    Introduction to Coastal Navigation This course in navigating the seasoast will begin with the mariner's compass as we investigate the many uses of the nautical chart. The concepts of latitude and longitude will be introduced, plotting and labeling a set course and understanding dead reckoning and positioning techniques which will enable the navigator to travel, fish, or simply enjoy the beauty of the waterways safely along the coast. A training chart #1210 Tr, basic plotting equipment, and the "Chapman's Piloting" book will be required for this course.

    Ecological Garden Design 2002 The journey continues into the nature of ecology, creating garden design and expanding upon your newly learned skills. Time will be spent on plant selection and location, improvin graphics and the advantages/disadvantages of landscaping. the introduction of software is included; however, no pur- chase is needed. Our focus will remain on site-design work and increasing in levels of difficulty.
