Pre: Co: Elect: CONCEPTUAL DRAWING: This course is designed for people interested in continuing the process of learning how to see and how to draw. Here we'll make the transition from known and seen objects and figures towards a free more imaginative statement. The use of drawing materials such as ink, crayon, washers and collage are introduced. We will use the figure, landscpe, still life and interiors as a point of departure, as we explore our own ideas and develop a personal vision.

Watercolors I Pre: Co: Elect: Explore the delicate as well as vibrant qualities of this versatile medium. Work with a variety of familiar and new brush stroke techniques. Experiment with both transparent and opaque colors to create a painting which expresses your own unique view of the world. This class will focus on each individual's personal expression and the aesthetic enjoyment in creating and painting scenes of nature and still life. Both beginner and intermediate students welcome. Bring your brushes, paints and paper. A supply and information sheet will be mailed to registered students.

You will learn the basic 2-step pattern and helpful techniques you will need for a good lead, following, for turns, and general yet essential dance skills. Pre: Co: Elect: FUIN WITH BALLROOM DANCING: Are you tired of sitting on the sidelines - just tapping your feet to the big bacd sound? Get into the swing of things with this enjoyable course - and you, too, will be stepping out onto the dance floor! Students will learn the basics of the waltz, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha-, Swing, and Tango, as well as the techniques of leading and following. Participants will also develop a feel for the typical styles and rhythms. Limited to 26 adults.

Pre: Co: Elect: This course is open to men and women age 18 and older. Designed for beginners with no previous dance experience, this course will introduce the student to some of the basics of tap dancing. The student will learn shuffles, shuffle ball change, baffaloes, turns, and more while enjoying the benefits of low impact aerobics without the bounce. A complete dance routine will be learned. Come "Shuffle off to BUFFALO" with us on your way to fun and fitness. Loose fitting clothing and tap shoes are required. See instructor during the first class for information about tap shoes.

'90s C/W Line Dancing Intermediate Pre: Co: Elect; Here's a chance to sharpen your footwork and stomp to the best of the hottest, new Country Western line dances on the East Cost. Partners not required. Learn the "Boot Scootin' Boogie," Reggae Cowboy," the "Earthquake," the Line Waltz" and more. This class will introduce the "Texas two step" couples dance along with other popular favorites. Come make some new friends. Wear comfortable shoes.

Two Left Feet - Who Says You Can't Dance? Pre: Co: Want to feel more comfortable dancing at parties, gatherings and wedding receptions? No prior dance experience is necessary. If you've only danced a little or have been too shy to step out on the dance floor, here's your chance to have fun, release stress and burn calories. No expectations or pressure to perform. You learn at your own pace. Learn the dance steps/moves to Modern/Funk, Pop, Disco, Latin, and the 80s. Wear comfortable, loose clothing.
