Travel to shoots independently meeting up with the professor and other students to photograph an intriguing variety of carefully selected natural and man-made settings. Document and explore with your camera after a short lecture from the professor who will also be available to provide personal and expert guidance to students throughout the class.

Darkroom I - NEW! Pre: Co: Learn the basics of black and white film developing and printing. Class includes four hours of open darkroom time. Film, paper, and chemicals are supplied for a $40 materials fee, payable to the instructor at the first class. Prerequisite: Basic 35mm Photography or equivalent. Pre: Co: Elect: DARKROOM 2: In this class, students will explore a variety of photographic films, darkroom and exposure processed, and shemicals which will improve one's technique and enhance creativity. Different speeds of black & white film will be used in cojunction with different film developers. Various print toners and papers will be used so that participants may select materials to attain optimum results with diverse subject matter. Students will shoot at least three rolls of film on a topic of his/her choosing, and develop a small series of final prints from these negatives.
