    Simply Simple Floral Techniques Pre: Co: Study simple floral techniques to use in the home and office at a well known local floral shop. Learn time saving methods to create dazzling floral pieces, with a focus on selecting the proper design for the proper setting. Create a compact vase design; plan a small party around a theme, and more. No prior knowledge of floral design is required. Please bring a floral knife or pruners, scissors, and wire cutters.     Spill, Splatter, and Splash! Pre: Co: Do you wish you could loosen up? Be more spontaneous? Let your creativity flow as you experiment with non-traditional ways of applying watercolor. Explore both Western and one stroke Oriental painting techniques. Have fun pouring paint, discovering wet on wet, painting negative spaces, using traditional brushwork to create free flowing artwork. Create interesting special effects using salt, saran wrap, rubbing alcohol, and sea sponges. Both experienced painters and individuals whom have never held a brush can benefit.     Watercolor: Common Problems and Solutions Pre: Co: Have you ever had someone tell you that you can't make corrections in watercolor? Not so! It can be difficult to cover up mistakes in watercolor without making mud, but there are lots of tricks you can use to make minor corrections. In this one day workshop, we will explore various techniques for fixing common mistakes and learn how to avoid them in the first place. All abilities welcome.
