Beginner West Coast Swing Dance Pre: Co: West Coast Swing (WCS) is a contemporary form of swing dance combining partner dancing with today's popular R&B top 40, funk and blues tunes. WCS is more casual than traditional ballroom dancing, with a smoother, sexier style than big-band swing (East Coast or Lindy Hop). Extremely versatile with broad appeal across age groups, once you learn the basic steps, you can dance anywhere: nightclubs, weddings, black tie galas, or the next company party.
