Learn the basic strokes/skills for doing massage and develop your own routine for giving a massage. Review general anatomy of the muscles and skeleton. The Mind, Body, Spirit Connection to Recovery - Part 1 Pre: Co: The goals of this course are to increase paraprofessionals' and professionals' understanding of the mind, body, spirit connection as it relates to addiction and recovery. In part 1 of the workshop, members will gain increased awareness of the impact of addictions on the whole being. Explore how negative thinking, unwanted emotions, and self-defeating behaviors promote and perpetuate the addiction process. 7.5 CEUs awarded.

Yoga Posture Technique Workshop Pre: Co: This class is for the Yoga student who wants a more in-depth detailed view of their current Yoga practice. We will explore the biomechanical placement and proper position of body alignment. This workshop is designed for the student who is already doing Yoga on a regular basis and looking for a little bit more. We will discuss end point theory, oppositional pull and core lift. Course requirements: Yoga student who has been doing Yoga for at least six months--Advanced Beginner to Advanced Yoga practioner.

Each of the seven main chakras has a corresponding color, symbol, mantra and visualization. Enjoy an overview of different energy systems.
