Improve your mental well-being and physical health. You will reduce stress and tension while you increase your energy. Class is conducted in a positive and nonthreatening way. You will learn self-defense techniques for attacks against punches, grabs and kicks. You will learn forms which are a series of stances, blocks and strikes that will train you to defend against attacks from different angeles. Optional: Students may also come to class on Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m. or Friday 6-7 p.m.

    Women Staying Well Pre: Co: Elect: Breast Cancer is the most common type of cancer among American women; the average woman has a 1 in 8 chances of developing it. Fortunately, there is much that can be done to detect breast cancer in its early stages, including monthly Breast Self-Exams, yearly physical breast exams, and mammography. With prompt treatment, the outlook is good. In fact, most women treated for early breast cancer will be free from breast cancer for the rest of their lives. Attend a free class on Breast Self-Exam, the prevention and early detection of breast cancer, and how to get free mammograms, physical exams and PAP smears if you have no insurance or no insurance coverage for such test.
