Two experienced instructors will guide you through the process of highlighting the best part of your photographs and then capturing your thoughts and feelings in a book that will be treasured through the generations. Create a family heirloom in no time. Learn simple techniques for sorting, cropping, and writing about your favorite pictures. A $15 materials fee must be paid to the instructor the first week.

    Black and White Photography (Adult) Pre: Co: Experience the drama and emotion of black and white photography using natural and ambient light! This course will cover the basics of the 35mm manual camera, and the creative process involved in the making of a photograph to achieve the results that you want. Whether your interest lies in landscapes, still life, children or family portraiture, you will receive helpful hints on composition, visual elements, capturing the moment and telling a story. Film, lenses, filters, and light meters will be discussed. An indoor photography shoot using available light and your choice of "props" included. No prior experience necessary. Bring manual camera, lenses, etc. and a notebook to class. The instructor will recommend where to purchase and develop film.
