Color Me Yoga (7-12) Pre: Co: Color Me Yoga is a unique program that teaches children the ancient healing art and science of yoga. "YOGA" means union, union of body, mind, and spirit through postures, breath, song, games, meditation, movement, and relaxation. By learning such postures as the fish, the cobra, the camel, and many more, children enjoy the playful aspect of yoga. Yoga is a wonderful tool for children which encourages flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, good posture, and focus. Yoga teaches children to relax in their bodies and to honor their own unique place in the world.

Sculptures from Nature (9-14) Co: Pre: Create three different sculptures from found objects in nature. We will create unique scculptures using leaves, stones, shells, feathers, sticks, fruit, vegetables and other organic items. Throughout the class learn about the work of artist, Andy Goldsworthy. A $5 materials fee must be paid to the instructor the first week.
