We will try our hand at scrimshaw on homemade whale's teeth, design a Save the Whales poster or T-shirt, create an informational coloring book and mobile, and make models of dolphins and whales with clay and paper mache. This course is packed with hands-on activities, first encounters of the whale kind and tons of fun! A natural ist with expertise in the "Ways of the Whale" will present an up close and personal slide show on this legendary mammal. Class limited to 12 students, ages 8-12.

The class also includes drills, games, and exer- cises which improve upon the students' balance, flexibility, strength, coordination and personal awareness. In addition, the students will be taught practical self-defense maneuvers that are effective against any aggressor, regardless of size and strength.
