    Pre: Co: Elect: SUMMER FUN CRAFTS: Do you like to work with your hands making things that are both beautiful and practical as well. Then come and enjoy a fun-filled class learning crafts such as cake decorating, flower-arranging, painting, etc. We will make crafts to decorate your room or to give as gifts to your parents and friends. Class limited to 12 students, ages 7-10. A materials fee of $10.00 will be collected by the instructor at the first class meeting.

    The Young Vocalist Pre: Co: Elect: Do you like singing along to songs on the radio? Did you know that nobody has a voice that sounds exactly like yours? Each person's voice is unique & individual. This class will present each child with an excellent opportunity to explore their vocal range and learn to "sing out." Reading music through rythmic games and the art of listening will help you to use your special gift - your voice! A cassette recording "practice & demo" tape will be your keepsake to take home after the last class. Clas limited to 12 students.

    The World of Computers (ages 9-14) This course will get the beginner off to a confident start. We will start with the basics-from how to turn it on to learning the keyboard. We will find the important keys, write a "silly stories" book and create some awesome designs. We'll also use a fun math program and let you choose some exciting programs for yourself. Students will receive hand-on experience on IBM computers.

    Computers Plus (Ages 6-8) Pre: Co: The student who has some background in computers will enjoy this class. We will build on the basics: add some word- processing skills, build a data base of our own for such things as addresses or baseball card sorting, and learn how to efficiently surf the World Wide Web. We will also work with a photo-editing program and design our own personal web page. We will explore some hands-on adventure programs. Emphasis will be placed on examining practical applications for IBM computers.

    Pre: Co: Elect: THROUGH A BUG'S EYE: Come spin a web of understanding and appreciation for the little critters around you. Experience the insect and arachnid world "through a bug's eye" Hear the insect as a musician, see the bee and spider as sculptors. Observe the many beautiful qualities of the insect and what important role it plays in life. Students will be encouraged to increase their appreciation through music, poetry and simple observations of bugs. Class limited to 15 students, ages 6-9.

This six-week session can't teach you everything, but it will help you understand that which you'll need to be successful. We'll review a lot of the basics any successful actor will need to know and also talk about auditioning, professionalism, production values, developing a character and more! Get your act together because we'll be presenting a performance in six weeks! Open to anyone in their teens.

In this class you will learn the basics of lighting and video-camera operation. You will also learn the secrets of editing while producing individual as well as group projects.
