If you love baseball and would enjoy being involved with a lot of kids who feel the same way, this class is for you. Besides the information and knowledge you will get about your favorite players, you will also discover how quickly your cards can increase in value.     Pre: Co: Elect: IMAGINE IF...: Imagine if you were a young girl or boy traveling to the California Gold Rush in a covered wagon. What would your days be like? What games would your play? What chores would be doing? In this class you will be transformed back into different historical eras where you will act out the lives of kids your own age. Instead of studying history, you will act out the lives of kids your own age. Instead of studying history, you will actually experience it for yourself. Class limited to 15 students, ages 6-9.

    Pre: Co: Elect: DON'T TREAD ON ME: The United States has had over 20 different flags. Do you know why the rattlesnake was chosen for an early Colonial flag? Do you know why our flag colors are red, white and blue and why it has seven stripes and only six white stripes? Learn the answers to these questions and much more including its changes and significance during the American Revolution, Civil War and other major wars in United States history. Students will also learn flag eitiquette as well as the symbolism, ideals and values represented by the flag. Class limited to 15 students, ages 9-14.
