Low Fat Vegetarian Today more and more people are finding out about the benefits of a low fat, vegetarian diet. If you want to learn how to cook delicious vegetarian meals or want some new ideas, this course is for you. The recipes are simple and easy to make, combining an assortment of fresh vegetables, grains, beans, tofu, tempeh and seitan. Everyone gets to eat the dishes and copies of the original recipes. Please bring $30 to the first class to cover theg and convient serving techniques are also taught. Some of the dishes we will be making are: Curried Basmati Rice with Sweet Potatoes, Broccoli, Raisins and Cashews, Southwestern Black Beans with Rice, Roasted Vegetables with Couscous, Oritental Tofu, Sweet and Sour Tempeh, Old World Pasta, and Fajitas. Everyone gets to eat the dishes and copies of the original recipes. Please bring $30 to the first class to cover the cost of groceries and related products.
