Investigates the industrial development of the community, the experience of the Depression, and the growth of Sprague Electric Company as the dominate employer. Concludes by reviewing the post-industrial changes in the area, the establishment of MASS MoCA and the propects for the future. Prereq: HIST 203 or HIST 204 or SOCI 100
