3 cr. 3 hr. This course seeks to explain the similarities and differences between the Earth's atmosphere and the atmospheres of the planets and moons in our solar system. Each atmosphere is studied to determine its chemical composition, thermal structure, energy budget, pressure, wind systems, clouds, precipitation and other pertinent meteorological phenomena. Prerequisite: GEOG 2200.
