Prerequisite: HEAL 491 and acceptance into student teaching This course is designed to provide the student with faculty-supervised student-teaching experience in health education with grades K-6. This practicum is full-time for one quarter (8 weeks). Students will be evaluated using standards and guidelines set by AAHE, the Massachusetts Department of Education and the Massachusetts Comprehensive Health Curriculum Framework.
