A course in recording techniques involving the history, concepts and mechanics of the recording process. Designed to train students for the recording of live concerts, this course acquaints students with acoustical principles, recording hardware, and recording procedures. Includes laboratory work assisting in the recording studio during concerts. Prerequisite: MUSC 101, MUSC 201, or MUSC 106, and consent of instructor. Lab/Class fee will be assessed.
