Prerequisite: BA 2410. The students enrolling in this course will attend the National Convention for the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). This class is only offered in the summer sessions. Most conference issues that will be addressed will be globally related, including: sexual harassment, compensation planning, disabilities, flexible workplaces, global education, and legal perspectives, along with approximately a hundred other topics. In addition, the networking and the trade show will be spectacular. This course is a capstone event that requires membership in the SHRM and the opportunity to become professionally certified.
