This course introduces storyboarding and multimedia application design. Topics include vector and bit-mapped graphics, interactive multimedia interfaces, layering techniques, and image and animation libraries. Students will learn to produce basic interactive multimedia applications. This course emphasizes digital applications such as Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver, and others as alternative media and implementation to traditional graphic design. The extensive use of design principles such as typography, composition and color to communicate ideas will be used.
