Specific topics to be covered include: acute and chronic bioassays, bioac-cumulation tests including biotransformation processes and toxicokinetics, and modeling techniques using Quantitative Structure Activity Relationships and fugacity modeling. This class is recommended for students interested in learning about the applied methodology used in the rapidly evolving field of aquatic toxicology. Prerequisite: Biology 307 and Chemistry 340 or equivalent, or instructor's permission.
