CP 276: Cinema Production

Study and practice of creative principles and techniques of 16mm film production. Students write, produce, and direct a non-dialogue based short story, shot entirely on 16mm film, edited digitally, and completed with sound tracks. Students purchase texts, light meters, film stock, processing, hard drives, and outside lab services. Prerequisite: CP 101 & 102 both with grades of B or better. Restricted to sophomore standing, Cinema & Photography major or consent of department. Equipment Fee: $60.
