The Augusta State University Women’s Ensemble is offered for freshman or sophomore students who do not major or minor in music, and who seek a choral ensemble that does not require an audition or prior choral experience. The ASU Women’s Ensemble performs at ceremonial occasions such as the Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration and at spring commencement. From time to time, the group may perform at ASU sports events, or at student activity events. Enrollment is open to any ASU student.

The Music Ensembles at Augusta State University present all students with the opportunity for a hands-on experience with music in a shared effort with others. A variety of performance groups exist for the interested student regardless of major, including large ensembles and chamber groups. All instruments and voice types are welcome. Major ensembles may be taken as an upper-division course with permission of the instructor or upper-division applied lessons status. All ensembles are normally offered fall and spring.
