COMT 3000: Introduction to Filmmaking

This course is designed as an introduction for students who will be directly or indirectly involved with electronic media production. Historical background along with practical production skills and technologies, including the Macintosh OS and Apple’s iLife suite of tools will be investigated in depth. The students will examine the difference between film and video and analog and digital technologies. Concepts and information learned in this class will be utilized in future communications classes.
