COMS 4971: Senior Capstone Project I

Each Communications major with a concentration in Communication Studies is required to design and execute an independent Senior Capstone Project. The parameters of the project will be set by the student in consultation with the Communication Studies Senior Capstone Project course instructor, who must approve the final proposal. This course is the first to be taken in a two-semester sequence, and should be taken the semester before the semester in which the student plans to graduate. In this course, the student will write a formal proposal for the Senior Capstone Project, which must satisfy the specific proposal requirements set by the Communication Studies faculty, and assessed by the instructor of record for the course.
