This course prepares students to be professional educators and practitioners in assessment. Students will focus on the educational assessment methods and procedures used in decision making and program planning for students with mild disabilities and from culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds. This course covers formal, informal, and curriculum-based diagnostic/assessment instruments. Students will complete a case study and develop an Individual Education Program based upon the results of the case study and assessment.
