MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING CLINICAL EDUCATION Prerequisite: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification or equivalent in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy with department approal and minimum grades of C in RTE 2575 and RTE 2762 or department approval. This course provides clinical rotation to achieve clinical experience in performing and documenting computed tomography procedures toward compliance with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists eligibility requirements. A minimum grade of C is required for all Radiography Program courses.

MAGNETIC RESONCE IMAGING II Prerequisite: RTE 2575 Course content provides a comprehensive presentation of magnetic resonance imaging procedures covering anatomy, pathology, Magnetic Resonance tissue and equipment applications for the central nervous system, thoracic, mediastinal, abdominal, pelvic and musculoskeletal regions fo the human body. A minimum grade of C is required for all Radiography Program courses.

SECTIONAL ANATOMY Pre-requisites: BSC 2094C A detailed study of gross anatomical structures will be systematically conducted for location, relationship to other structures and function. Identification of anatomical structures in axial (transverse), sagittal, coronal and orthogonal (oblique) planes will be achieved using illustrations and anatomy images comparing Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Ultrasound images, when applicable. A minimum grade of C is required for all Radiography Program courses.

RADIOGRAPHIC PATHOLOGY Prerequisites: RTE 1523C Corequisites: RTE 2563 and RTE 2834 Course content will provide student with an introduction to the concept of disease. The relationship of pathology and disease to various radiographic procedures will be discussed. Assignments will include an oral case presentation. A minimum grade of C is required for all Radiography Program courses.

A minimum grade of C is required for all Radiography Program courses. (Special Fee: $60.00)
