Students will be introduced to the basic methods of casting, carving, modeling, and assemblage. The creative aspects of the sculptural process will be emphasized by broadening the student's concept development and sensitizing the student to the materials and techniques involved in the sculptural process. Students will become familiar with the basic vocabulary associated with sculpture.
