This course will continue to refine those respiratory care techniques applicable to the critically ill patient with an emphasis on prolonged mechanical ventilation. A laboratory review of the most commonly used ventilators with an emphasis on practical applications will occur. Pediatric and neonatal respiratory care rotations will be included with an emphasis on hands-on clinical practice.
