Interpretation of USGS maps. Theory and application of field data in measurements, land surveying and grading; surveying data acquisition. Lot, building lines and grades layout. Drawing contour lines, street and highway plans, profiles and cross-sections. Excavation quantities. Horizontal circular curves and vertical curves for road work.
