Water Resources in a Changing Environment Satisfies an elective requirement for the master's in enviornmental education program. The course is divided into three parts. Part one is the science of water: the hydrologic cycle and the hydrosphere, stream flow, groundwater movement, evaporation, and precipitation. Part two covers the development of water resources, and water law. This includes water quality, hazards, and environmental issues. Part three provides a global perspective on water including global water resources, drought, polllution, political dimensions, commercialization of world water supplies, and in particular, impacts of climate change.
